Hillside Recording studios began as a project studio for August Destiny(band) in 2004 with studio owner,Head engineer Philip Keatley who was the Drummer and engineer for the band.

Based in his parents back garden in a shed he recorded August Destiny's first Album.

With the outcome of the album Philip decided that the location and the space was ideal to build an all purpose recording facility that could cater for all genres of music and all kinds of audio recording.

In late 2005 the iner of what was to be Hillside studios which was called Spynans studio then was used to record several demos and ep's for young bands from all over Ireland.

2008 saw the construction work of the control room, Live room and Drum room.

With the final touches Hillsidestudios  will be and are able to cater for Live recording,Studio recording,Voice overs,Film production,Event Management,Mastering,Mixing,Radio advertisment.

2009 see Hillside studio expand its equipment and studio further.
