Well as the title suggest yes we have great news.

We finaly have the go ahead to build our drum room which will seperate the rest of the instruments for recording which will allow a better quality recording.

Hopfully not long after we finish this one we can start the Guitar and vocal rooms.

Well our latest client to the studio has been Kevin on a bike ,The lads all hale from Baltinglass co wicklow and have just finished 5 days recording with us.

we have just begun the mixing process so hopfully we will be finishing up soon.

Well Hillside recording was involved in the live sound and the recording of some of the bands @ the festival this year have a look at some of the phots and some of the recordings will be up for you to listen soon.

Well just fresh out of the studio last wed,thurs,fri was Prowler a young band who just formed in early Feb this year.

The band got straight into the swing of things a layed down 6 great tracks 1 of which was a cover (Back in black by ACDC)

we then mixed the tracks for the lads and might i say i like the sound.

More great news. Only just recently we recieved a mail from a rep of the Future sounds festival wondering if Hillside studios would look after both live sound and Live recording.

Along with that they have recently asked if we would organise the purchase and setting up of their own PA system for the festival comming.

So we are busy shoping for PA's and equipment.

Hi guys as some of you may already know Hillsidestudios is one of many sponsors for the Arklow arts festival this year. On the 31st may and the 1st and 2nd of June Hillside studios will be recording the open air concert where over the last 3 days they will be judging the finalalists of the singer songwriter compitition and yes the other great news is that the winner of both categories solo an band will each recieve 3 days in Hillside recording studios where we will record and master thier work.
